Kongsberg toppled Gimle to take 2-1 lead in the series. Kongsberg dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to Gimle BBK's 32. They brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. It was an exceptional evening for Dutch-American Bryan Alberts (196-1994, college: LBSU) who led the winners and scored 31 points and 4 assists. DR Congolese forward Djo Loo Yele (203-1982) accounted for 25 points and 7 rebounds (on 12-of-15 shooting from the field) for the winning side. Alberts is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. The former international guard Lars Espe (185-1998, college: Barry) came up with 30 points and Serbian-Montenegrin center Milovan Savic (205-1987) added 15 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for Gimle BBK in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
