No shocking result in a game when second ranked Decic (17-2) crushed at home 5th ranked Akademik (12-9) 81-52 on Sunday. Decic forced 22 Akademik turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Guard Marko Koljevic (191-1990) notched a double-double by scoring 20 points, 8 rebounds, 11 assists and 4 steals to lead the effort and center Bogosav Bozovic (207-1999) supported him with 18 points and 9 rebounds. Four Decic players scored in double figures. Even 6 points, 20 rebounds and 5 assists by forward Dusan Zivkovic (203-1994) did not help to save the game for Akademik. Radomir Kruska (203-1996) added 11 points and 6 rebounds for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Decic have an impressive 11-game winning streak. Newly promoted Decic maintains second position with 17-2 record having 2 victories less than leader Pljevlja. Loser Akademik keeps the fifth place with nine games lost. They share the position with Montenegro. Decic will meet Sutomore (#3) on the road in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Akademik will play against the league's leader Pljevlja and hope to secure a win.
