The hosts were already 19 points ahead at halftime and as many as 21 after three quarters before a 30-18 last quarter charge of KTP Basket cut the lead to 89-80 at the end of the game. Strangely KTP Basket outrebounded Seagulls 43-30 including 17 on the offensive glass. American guard Seth Allen (185-1994, college: Virginia Tech) stepped up and scored 18 points for the winners and his fellow American import Joe Lawson (201-1992, college: Indianapolis) chipped in 14 points and 6 rebounds. Lawson is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Seagulls' coach Jussi Laakso allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the losing side American power forward Urald King (198-1990, college: SE Oklahoma) responded with 21 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international forward Remu Raitanen (206-1997, college: USF, agency: Blacktop Management) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 13 rebounds.
