No shocking result in a game when second ranked Poitiers (10-4) defeated at home 6th ranked Mulhouse (6-9) 97-79 on Tuesday. Poitiers made 16-of-18 free shots (88.9 percent) during the game. It was a great shooting night for Poitiers especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.0 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. It was a great evening for point guard Matteo Legat (191-1996) who led his team to a victory scoring 18 points. Swingman Julian Ngufor (195-2001) helped adding 10 points and 9 rebounds. Four Poitiers players scored in double figures. Poitiers' coach used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. At the losing side Spanish center Victor Serrano (210-1989) responded with 11 points and 8 rebounds and Senegalese forward Momar NDoye (199-1995) scored 14 points and 5 rebounds. Poitiers maintains second place with 10-4 record having four points less than leader Kaysersberg. Mulhouse lost their fourth game in a row. They dropped to the eighth position with nine games lost. Poitiers will meet Caen (#9) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Mulhouse will play against Rueil and hope to secure a win.
