Regular Season Round 27: Blois - ASA 77-92

There was an upset when 4th placed ADA Blois (16-11) was defeated at home by fifteenth ranked ASA (12-15) 92-77 on Tuesday. ASA looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a great evening for American-Nigerian Obi Enechionyia (208-1995, college: Temple) who led his team to a victory scoring 24 points. American point guard Marquis Wright (185-1995, college: Siena) helped adding 13 points, 9 assists and 4 steals. ASA's coach Julien Espinosa used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. The best for the losing side was point guard Thomas Cornely (190-1991) with 19 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals and American forward Tyren Johnson (201-1988, college: La-Lafayette) scored 8 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Four ADA Blois players scored in double figures. ASA moved-up to thirteenth place, which they share with Lille. ADA Blois at the other side keeps the fourth position with 11 games lost. ASA will meet at home higher ranked Olympique Antibes (#7) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. ADA Blois will play against Saint Vallier and hope to secure a win.
