Quarter-Finals Round 1: I.Nahariya - M.Haifa 89-65

I.Nahariya forced 20 M.Haifa turnovers and had a 28-16 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists. M.Haifa was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. The former international point guard Yogev Ohayon (189-1987) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 13 assists for the winners and the former international center Alexey Chubrevich (212-1986) chipped in 10 points and 11 rebounds. Five I.Nahariya players scored in double figures. I.Nahariya's coach Shai Segalovich felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side American forward Steve Taylor Jr (206-1993, college: Toledo) responded with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 14 rebounds and the other American import point guard Kwame Vaughn (190-1990, college: CS Fullerton) scored 20 points and 7 rebounds.
