Second Stage Round 8: Randers - BAC 88-80
Date: April 6, 2022
No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Randers (17-9) beat at home 6th ranked BAC (7-20) 88-80 on Wednesday. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Randers made 7 blocks. The winners were led by American-Jamaican power forward Reginald Kissoonlal (213-1996, college: Marian, IN, agency: One Motive Sports) who scored that evening 23 points, 8 rebounds and 5 blocks and American guard Brandon Randolph (187-1995, college: Utah Valley) supported him with 19 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Kissoonlal is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas. Four Randers players scored in double figures. Even 19 points and 6 rebounds by guard Malthe Bjerregaard (196-2003) did not help to save the game for BAC. Guard Marius Kirkholt (192-1997) added 7 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists for the guests. BAC's coach Thomas Hemmingsen rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Randers have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place. BAC lost twelfth consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with 20 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
