The game without a history. Seagulls led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. The former international guard Lassi Nikkarinen (187-1997, college: Montana St.) scored 16 points and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and American Joe Lawson (201-1992, college: Indianapolis) chipped in 11 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Lawson is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Seagulls players scored in double figures. Seagulls' coach Jussi Laakso used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American power forward Urald King (198-1990, college: SE Oklahoma) responded with 20 points and 8 rebounds and his fellow American import point guard Richard Williams Jr (178-1987, college: SDSU) scored 14 points and 7 assists.
