The hosts trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 7-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 92-75. Keflavik dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Tindastoll's 24 and made 18-of-20 free shots (90.0 percent) during the game. Lithuanian center Dominykas Milka (203-1992, college: St.Rose, NY) chipped in a double-double by scoring 14 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Keflavik players scored in double figures. Irish-British forward Taiwo Badmus (201-1993, college: UVA Wise) produced 22 points and 7 rebounds and American guard Javon Bess (198-1996, college: St.Louis) added 12 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists respectively for the guests. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
