Ashdod rallied past Ramla in the Finals opener. Ashdod made 19-of-25 free shots (76.0 percent) during the game. American guard Victoria Vivians (185-1994, college: MSU) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!), 14 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and international power forward Alexandra Cohen (196-1993, college: Northwestern) chipped in 11 points and 4 assists. At the losing side American point guard Crystal Dangerfield (165-1998, college: UConn, agency: LBM Management) responded with 18 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists and the other American import forward Emma Cannon (190-1989, college: FSC) produced a double-double by scoring 10 points and 17 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
