No shocking result in a game in Gilet where first ranked Puerto Sagunto (9-2) smashed 6th ranked Godella (3-7) 92-51 on Saturday. Puerto Sagunto dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Godella's 32. Puerto Sagunto forced 21 Godella turnovers and outrebounded them 45-29 including a 34-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of Jesus Cerisuelo (-1998) who helped to win the game recording 12 points and 8 rebounds and center Borja Soriano (208-1996, college: TWU) who added 10 points and 11 rebounds during the contest. Five Puerto Sagunto players scored in double figures. At the losing side guard Daniel Perez (187-2001) responded with 18 points and 5 steals and forward Jason Lasso (193-1994) scored 8 points and 5 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Puerto Sagunto have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position in Group EDesc2 with 9-2 record. Loser Godella keeps the sixth place with seven games lost. They share the position with Aldaia.
