Regular Season Round 20: TSU - Cactus 89-84

Superleague top team - TSU (14-3) added another victory to their record. This time they beat tenth ranked Cactus (6-13) in Tbilisi 89-84. Cactus were ahead by 5 points after three quarters before a 30-20 charge of TSU, which allowed them to win the game. American players dominated the game. Worth to mention a quality performance of guard Lovell Cabbil (188-1997, college: Liberty) who helped to win the game recording 37 points (!!!), 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals and guard Ryle Owens (192-1997, college: Young Harris) who added 13 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Cabbil is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Guard Jordan Forbes (193-1998, college: Salem) responded with 26 points and 5 rebounds and guard Denzel Livingston (193-1993, college: UIW) produced a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Cactus' coach Irakli Khoshtaria rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. TSU have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 14-3 record. Cactus lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the tenth place with 13 games lost. TSU's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Tbilisi to the arena Tskhum-Abkhazeti.
