Very predictable result when second ranked Vigevano (20-6) won against 14th ranked Sangiorgese (9-17) in San Giorgio 76-64 on Sunday. Vigevano shot the lights out from three sinking 17 long-distance shots on high 56.7 percentage. Guard Michele Peroni (190-1994) notched 21 points to lead the effort and guard Nicolo Gatti (196-1991) supported him with 10 points and 11 rebounds. Even 10 points and 6 rebounds by swingman Simone Angelucci (198-1998) did not help to save the game for Sangiorgese. Guard Alessandro Voltolini (192-2001) added 12 points for the hosts. Vigevano maintains second position in B with 20-6 record having just three points less than leader Agrigento. Loser Sangiorgese dropped to the twelfth place with 17 games lost. They share the position with Bologna Basket. Vigevano will meet at home Omegna (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Sangiorgese will play against Borgomanero (#16) and hope to secure a win.
