Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both sixth ranked Torino and 5th ranked Monferrato had identical 14-11 record. This time Torino used a home court advantage and smashed the opponent from Casale 96-73 on Sunday night. Torino dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Monferrato's 30. They outrebounded Monferrato 38-23 including 24 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of American power forward Devon Scott (206-1994, college: Dayton) who helped to win the game recording 26 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists and naturalized American guard Mirza Alibegovic (196-1992) who added 18 points and 5 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was the former international power forward Niccolo Martinoni (203-1989) with 14 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Fabio Valentini (185-1999) scored 14 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Torino (15-11) moved-up to fifth place in A2. Loser Monferrato dropped to the sixth position with 12 games lost.
