Quarter-Finals Round 2: Borisfen - Gomel 106-44

Borisfen dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Gomel's 26. Borisfen forced 22 Gomel turnovers and outrebounded them 41-27 including a 32-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 34 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Gomel's players. Power forward Aleksandr Kopachev (203-1995) notched 17 points and 6 rebounds to lead the effort and international swingman Uladzislau Mikulski (196-1998) supported him with 13 points and 7 assists. Four Borisfen players scored in double figures. Borisfen's coach Andrei Krivonos felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even a double-double of 16 points and 14 rebounds by Russian Danil Dyakov (205-2000) did not help to save the game for Gomel. Point guard Evgeniy Starostenko (180-1992) added 5 points and 5 rebounds for the guests.
