Kataja upset Kouvot to complete the semifinal picture. The guests were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Kataja outrebounded Kouvot 48-30 including a 38-25 advantage in defensive rebounds. American forward Rhamel Brown (201-1992, college: Manhattan, agency: BIG) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds. His fellow American import guard Nick Griffin (188-1995, college: St.Peter's) contributed with 15 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. American guard Tray Boyd III (193-1998, college: ETSU) answered with 17 points and Sudanese swingman Makuach Maluach (196-1998, college: N.Mexico) added 15 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Kouvot. Four Kouvot players scored in double figures.
