Regular Season Round 29: Denain - Chalon 90-70

Very important is a road loss of third ranked Chalon/Saor (17-12) against fourteenth ranked Denain Voltaire (13-15) on Friday night. Visiting Chalon/Saor was crushed by Denain Voltaire in Denain 90-70. Denain Voltaire dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Chalon/Saor's 34. The best player for the winners was Serbian power forward Milan Milovanovic (205-1991, agency: 011 Sports) who scored 18 points and 8 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). They keep the third position with 12 games lost. They share it with Evreux and Blois. Denain Voltaire will meet higher ranked ADA Blois (#4) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Chalon/Saor will play against Aix-Maurienne and hope to secure a win and be promoted back to the Betclic ELITE ProA just one year after relegation.
