Quarter-Finals Round 5: Tindastoll - Keflavik 99-85

Tindastoll held off Keflavik to secure the semifinal berth. The game was mostly controlled by Tindastoll. Keflavik managed to win fourth quarter 26-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Irish-British forward Taiwo Badmus (201-1993, college: UVA Wise) stepped up and scored 38 points (!!!), 5 rebounds and 4 assists (on 14-of-18 shooting from the field) for the winners and American guard Javon Bess (198-1996, college: St.Louis) chipped in 19 points. Lithuanian forward Darius Tarvydas (199-1991) responded with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds and the former international guard Hordur Vilhjalmsson (194-1988) scored 11 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Five Keflavik players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
