Vilpas rallied past Kataja to open 3-0 lead. Kataja was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Vilpas looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. American players dominated the game. It was a good game for power forward Jeremiah Wood (200-1985, agency: Inception Sports) who led his team to a victory with 17 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Guard Marcus LoVett Jr (183-1996, college: St.John's) contributed with 20 points and 5 assists for the winners. Five Vilpas players scored in double figures. Forward Rahlir Hollis-Jefferson (198-1991, college: Temple) answered with a double-double by scoring 24 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists and Christopher McKnight (201-1987, college: Akron) added 17 points in the effort for Kataja.
