Finals Game 2: Njardvik - Haukar 62-82

Haukar upset Njardvik to bounce back from the opening loss. The game without a history. Haukar led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Njardvik's 22. Haukar forced 20 Njardvik turnovers. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Haukar made 7 blocks. American point guard Haiden Palmer (174-1991, college: Gonzaga) orchestrated the victory by scoring 22 points and 8 rebounds. The former international swingman Helena Sverrisdottir (186-1988, college: TCU) contributed with 10 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Four Haukar players scored in double figures. American guard Aliyah Collier (177-1997, college: Clemson) replied with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 13 rebounds, 5 assists and 6 steals and Portuguese-British center Lavinia Silva (187-1988) added 15 points in the effort for Njardvik. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
