Regular Season Round 30: Torrent - Murcia 2 56-85

There was no surprise when 7th ranked Torrent (1-12) was outleveled at home by third ranked Murcia 2 (10-3) 85-56 on Saturday. Murcia 2 forced 29 Torrent turnovers. Swedish forward Wilhelm Falk (203-2003) notched 21 points and 7 rebounds to lead the effort and Senegalese forward Omar Lo (206-1997, college: CBU) supported him with 19 points and 7 rebounds. Even 8 points and 9 rebounds by Mark Hetor (197-2001) did not help to save the game for Torrent. Pedro Bustamante (184-2001) added 14 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Murcia 2 have an impressive five-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place in Group Eclasif, which they share with Paterna. Loser Torrent keeps the seventh position with 12 games lost. They share it with Picken Claret. Murcia 2 will meet at home league's second-placed Paterna in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Torrent will have a break next round.
