Finals Game 3: PeKa - Kouvot 74-64

PeKa defeated Kouvot to take 2-1 lead in the Finals. The game was mostly controlled by Peli-Karhut. Kouvottaret managed to win second period 14-9. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Kouvottaret 35-22 including 26 on the defensive glass. It was a good game for American swingman Naomi Davenport (180, college: WVU) who led her team to a victory with 12 points and 8 rebounds. Her fellow American import forward Zykera Rice (185-1996, college: Gonzaga) contributed with 17 points for the winners. Peli-Karhut's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Canadian forward Rashida Timbilla (185-1992, college: UMass) answered with 13 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and American-American Samoan power forward Sarah Toeaina (185-1996, college: Hawaii) added 18 points in the effort for Kouvottaret.
