Finals Game 3: Haukar - Njardvik 69-78

Njardvik upset Haukar on the road to open 2-1 lead in the Finals. The guests trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 5-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 78-69. Njardvik shot 24 for 34 from the free-throw line, while Haukar only scored seven points from the stripe. They outrebounded Haukar 41-25 including a 17-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. 27 personal fouls committed by Haukar helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a good game for American guard Aliyah Collier (177-1997, college: Clemson) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 38 points (!!!), 20 rebounds and 4 assists. Portuguese-British center Lavinia Silva (187-1988) contributed with 17 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. The former international swingman Helena Sverrisdottir (186-1988, college: TCU) answered with 19 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals and the former international forward Eva Kristjansdottir (186-1997) added 8 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Haukar.
