Semi-Finals Game 3: Thor Thorl - Valur 65-82

Valur upset Thor Thorl to sweep the series. The game was mostly controlled by Valur. Thor Thorl was better in third quarter 17-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Valur had a 36-25 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was an exceptional evening for the former international guard Kari Jonsson (192-1997, college: Drexel) who led the winners and scored 25 points and 5 assists. American forward Jacob Calloway (202-1996, college: SUU, agency: MSG) accounted for 14 points and 12 rebounds for the winning side. Four Valur players scored in double figures. Danish forward Daniel Mortensen (204-1994, college: Barry) came up with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists and American point guard Glynn Watson Jr (185-1997, college: Nebraska) added 10 points and 6 assists respectively for Thor Thorl in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.
