Slavia Praha claimed 1.Liga title. They nipped Sokol Pisek in the championship series decider to capture the crown. Slavia Praha outrebounded Sokol Pisek 44-30 including 16 on the offensive glass. 26 personal fouls committed by Sokol Pisek helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was American power forward Addison Park (198-1996, college: MSUM) who had a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds. The former international forward Pavel Pumprla (198-1986, agency: Octagon Europe) chipped in a double-double by scoring 13 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Vojtech Sykora (189-2001) who recorded 23 points and 6 rebounds and center Martin Svoboda (202-2001) added 16 points and 9 rebounds respectively. Five Slavia Praha and four Sokol Pisek players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.
