Quarter-Finals Round 7: Brno - Pardubice 83-76

Brno held off Pardubice to ensure the final ticket into the semifinal stage. Brno looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of power forward Jakub Krakovic (205-1990) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 11 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists. Naturalized Slovakian point guard Roman Marko (192-1986) contributed with 13 points and 7 assists for the winners. The former international swingman Petr Safarcik (193-1994) answered with 15 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals and American forward Dantez Walton (198-1997, college: NKU) added 17 points and 4 steals in the effort for Pardubice. Five Brno and four Pardubice players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
