Finals Game 1: Seagulls - Kataja 84-54
Date: April 29, 2022
Seagulls clinched the third position as they crushed Kataja in the consolation final. The game without a history. Seagulls led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Worth to mention a great performance of American Joe Lawson (201-1992, college: Indianapolis) who helped to win the game recording 16 points and 6 rebounds. International Shawn Huff (198-1984, college: Valpo) contributed with 13 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Lawson is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. American forward Rahlir Hollis-Jefferson (198-1991, college: Temple) answered with 18 points and 7 rebounds and the other American import forward Rhamel Brown (201-1992, college: Manhattan, agency: BIG) added 2 points and 15 rebounds in the effort for Kataja. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
