Not a big story in a game when 7th ranked Alcala (15-15) lost on the road to fourth ranked Alcobendas (18-12) 76-72 on Saturday. It was an exceptional evening for Jorge Tejera (200-1992) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds. Forward Alberto de la Torre (201-1994) accounted for 20 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side. Power forward Alvaro Biersack (198-1995) came up with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 16 rebounds and guard Oscar Mendez (182-2000) added 17 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Alcala in the defeat. Four Alcala players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Alcobendas moved-up to third place in Group B. Alcala lost third consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with 15 games lost.
