Quarter-Finals Round 1: Kutaisi - Rustavi 100-76

Date: May 1, 2022
The game without a history. Kutaisi led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Rustavi's 40. Kutaisi looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of international power forward Giorgi Korsantia (207-1998) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds. American point guard Adrian Bowie (189-1989, college: Maryland, agency: BIG) contributed with 14 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners. Four Kutaisi players scored in double figures. American power forward Raheem Johnson (208-1993, college: Buffalo) answered with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 13 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) and the former international swingman Mikhail Chochua (193-1987) added 19 points in the effort for Rustavi. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
