Everything went according to plan when fourth ranked Sigortam.net (20-9) outplayed 8th ranked Kagitspor (14-15) in Balikesir 88-67 on Sunday. It was an exceptional evening for American point guard Garrett Sim (188-1990, college: Oregon, agency: Octagon Europe) who led the winners and scored 26 points and 9 assists. The former international power forward Cevher Ozer (206-1983) accounted for 12 points and 6 rebounds for the winning side. American point guard Corin Henry (185-1988, college: Tarleton St.) came up with 16 points and 5 assists and Mehmet Kizil (-1996) added 15 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Kagitspor in the defeat. Five Sigortam.net and four Kagitspor players scored in double figures. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest.
