Quarter-Finals Round 4: Titebi - TSU 67-96

TSU cruised past Titebi on the road to seal their semifinal berth. The guests trailed by 8 points after first quarter, but they stormed back and won the game by 29 points. TSU made 22-of-26 free shots (84.6 percent) during the game. TSU had a 41-29 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Lovell Cabbil (188-1997, college: Liberty) who helped to win the game recording 17 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals (made all of his nine free throws !!!). The former international forward Nika Darbaidze (204-1998) contributed with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Cabbil is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. TSU's coach Leqso Lapanashvili felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American power forward Javion Ogunyemi (207-1995, college: Siena) replied with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 15 rebounds and his fellow American import guard Isaac Asrat (188-1997, college: LCU) added 12 points and 6 assists in the effort for Titebi. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
