Everything went according to plan when second ranked Saint Chamond (25-8) outleveled at home 8th ranked JA Vichy (16-17) 94-75 on Saturday. Saint Chamond dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to JA Vichy's 34. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 16 passes made by JA Vichy's players. Serbian-Portuguese center Sasa Borovnjak (206-1989, college: Penn St., agency: 011 Sports) stepped up and scored 21 points and 9 rebounds for the winners and center Mathieu Boyer (208-1995) chipped in 20 points and 5 rebounds. The best for the losing side was American forward Dominez Burnett (196-1992, college: Davenport) with 14 points and guard Thomas Ville (188-1995) scored 12 points. Four JA Vichy players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Saint Chamond maintains second place with 25-8 record behind leader Nancy. JA Vichy lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the eighth position with 17 games lost. They share it with ASA.
