Important game to mention about took place in Ankara. Eighth ranked TED Ankara (15-15) saved a 2-point victory at home edging 5th ranked Mamak (18-12) 93-91 on Sunday evening. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Mamak. TED Ankara dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Mamak's 34. Even a double-double of 13 points, 7 rebounds, 10 assists and 4 steals by American point guard Marlain Veal (175-1996, college: SE Louisiana) did not help to save the game for Mamak. Swingman Kaan Sariaslan (193-1997) added 21 points for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. TED Ankara have an impressive five-game winning streak. They moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Kagitspor and Bornova. Mamak at the other side keeps the fifth position with 12 games lost.
