Seawolves dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Science City Jena's 24. 24 personal fouls committed by Science City Jena helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was center Till Gloger (204-1993, college: Maine) who scored 21 points and 7 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). American guard Jordan Roland (185-1997, college: Northeastern) chipped in 15 points and 8 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was Julius Wolf (203-1993, agency: LUMANI 10.7) who recorded 17 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and American swingman Brandon Thomas (198-1984, college: UMass, agency: Interperformances) added 17 points respectively. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
