Finals Game 3: Olympiacos - Panathinaikos 87-54

Olympiacos fired past Panathinaikos to secure 3-2 lead in the championship series. Olympiacos dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Panathinaikos' 20. They outrebounded Panathinaikos 40-24 including a 30-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Olympiacos especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.6 percentage. It was a good game for Latvian center Kristine Vitola (193-1991, college: UTEP) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists. The former international guard Angeliki Nikolopoulou (177-1991) contributed with 16 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. American forward Chastity Reed (185-1989, college: UALR) answered with 12 points and 6 rebounds and the other American import guard Feyonda Fitzgerald (170-1995, college: Temple) added 12 points in the effort for Panathinaikos. Four Panathinaikos players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
