Gornik outrebounded Kotwica 48-26 including a 32-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Guard Marcin Dymala (187-1990) orchestrated the victory by scoring 19 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Point guard Kamil Zywert (185-1996) contributed with a double-double by scoring 10 points, 9 rebounds and 10 assists for the winners. Five Gornik players scored in double figures. Gornik's coach Lukasz Grudniewski used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. American point guard Remon Nelson (175-1990, college: USC Aiken) answered with 27 points and 5 rebounds and Mikolaj Kurpisz (203-1998) added 26 points (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) in the effort for Kotwica.
