Finals Game 4: Panathinaikos - Olympiacos 79-87

Olympiacos clinched A1 title. They beat Panathinaikos on the road to secure the trophy. Olympiacos led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 18-of-22 free shots (81.8 percent) during the game. Olympiacos outrebounded Panathinaikos 35-22 including a 29-13 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Olympiacos especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 64.3 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Latvian center Kristine Vitola (193-1991, college: UTEP) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 7 rebounds. The former international guard Angeliki Nikolopoulou (177-1991) contributed with 21 points and 5 assists for the winners. American guard Feyonda Fitzgerald (170-1995, college: Temple) replied with 22 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists and the former international point guard Lolita Lymoura (180-1985) added 19 points in the effort for Panathinaikos. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
