Sassari upset Brescia on the road to draw things even in the series. Sassari made 24-of-31 free shots (77.4 percent) during the game. 25 personal fouls committed by Brescia helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Croatian center Miro Bilan (213-1989, agency: BeoBasket) had a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and American forward Jason Burnell (201-1997, college: JSU) chipped in 13 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. Greek-Canadian guard Nazareth Mitrou-Long (193-1993, college: Iowa St., agency: BeoBasket) responded with 27 points and 6 assists and American swingman John Petrucelli (193-1992, college: Molloy) scored 19 points.
