The guests trailed by 18 points after first quarter, but they rallied back and won the game by 1 point. 25 personal fouls committed by Tartu helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The former international Mihkel Kirves (200-1996) saved the victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 13 rebounds. The former international point guard Siim-Markus Post (184-1997) contributed with 11 points and 8 assists for the winners. Four Parnu players scored in double figures. American guard Braxton Huggins (196-1996, college: Fresno St.) replied with 29 points and 6 rebounds (was perfect 11-for-11 from the free throw line !!!) and his fellow American import center Emmanuel Wembi (205-1997, college: Lenoir-Rhyne) added 18 points and 11 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) in the effort for Tartu. Tartu's coach Nikolajs Mazurs rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
