The former international point guard Otar Pkhakadze (188-1993, college: Simpson, CA) contributed with 21 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Canadian forward Eddie Ekiyor (206-1997, college: Carleton) answered with 22 points and 9 rebounds (on 10-of-11 shooting from the field) and the former international Davit Lomidze (196-1997) added 21 points in the effort for Olimpi. Five Kutaisi and four Olimpi players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
