Kutaisi fired past Olimpi to open 2-0 lead in the Finals. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Olimpi won third quarter 16-14. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Kutaisi made 8 blocks. American point guard Adrian Bowie (189-1989, college: Maryland, agency: BIG) orchestrated the victory by scoring 15 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists.
