Bnei Hasharon made 16-of-19 free shots (84.2 percent) during the game. Bnei Hasharon outrebounded Maccabi Tel-Aviv 38-22 including a 31-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. American players dominated the game. Chris Babb (196-1990, college: Iowa St.) orchestrated the victory by scoring 23 points and 4 assists (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). Power forward Chinanu Onuaku (207-1996, college: Louisville, agency: MSG) contributed with a double-double by scoring 13 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Five Bnei Hasharon players scored in double figures. Forward James Nunnally (201-1990, college: UCSB) replied with 12 points and 6 assists and forward Derrick Williams (203-1991, college: Arizona) added 18 points in the effort for Maccabi Tel-Aviv. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
