Semi-Finals Game 2: Den Bosch - Groningen 100-101

Groningen nipped Den Bosch to secure the Finals berth. Groningen made 19-of-23 charity shots (82.6 percent) during the game. Groningen outrebounded Den Bosch 30-16 including a 15-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. American guard Austin Luke (191-1994, college: Belmont) saved the victory by scoring 31 points and 9 assists. The other American import guard Marquis Addison (193-1991, college: MSSU) contributed with 25 points for the winners. Groningen's coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Finnish point guard Edon Maxhuni (188-1998, college: LBSU) replied with 20 points and 7 assists and American forward Clay Mounce (201-1998, college: Furman) added 23 points (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!) in the effort for Den Bosch. Four Den Bosch players scored in double figures.
