Finals Game 1: Virtus BO - Milano 62-66

Milano opened win count in the Finals. They upset Virtus in Bologna in the opener. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 13-10. But Virtus BO won second period 17-15. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Danish forward Shavon Shields (201-1994, college: Nebraska) stepped up and scored 18 points and 6 rebounds for the winners and American center Kyle Hines (198-1986, agency: BeoBasket) chipped in 10 points and 10 rebounds. At the losing side Serbian point guard Milos Teodosic (195-1987) responded with 16 points and 6 assists and Georgian Tornike Shengelia (206-1991) scored 11 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.
