Hapoel Holon conquered Winner Basket League title. They knocked down Bnei Hertzeliya to sweep the championship series. The victory marked the second Winner League trophy in the team's history. Hapoel Holon led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. American-Liberian point guard Joe Ragland (182-1989, college: Wichita St.) orchestrated the victory by scoring 23 points and 7 assists. American Tyrus McGee (188-1991, college: Iowa St., agency: Alti Sport) contributed with 16 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Five Hapoel Holon players scored in double figures. American Maurice Kemp (203-1991, college: ECU) replied with 21 points and 5 rebounds (was perfect 11-for-11 from the free throw line !!!) and his fellow American import power forward Chinanu Onuaku (207-1996, college: Louisville, agency: MSG) added 12 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Bnei Hasharon. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
