Finals Game 3: Milano - Virtus BO 94-82

Milano gained the second victory in the Finals. They overcame Virtus Bologna to take 2-1 lead. The game was mostly controlled by Milano. Virtus BO managed to win second period 18-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a great evening for Danish forward Shavon Shields (201-1994, college: Nebraska) who led his team to a victory scoring 19 points and 7 rebounds. The former international Nicolo Melli (205-1991) helped adding 22 points and 5 rebounds. The best for the losing side was the former international point guard Daniel Hackett (193-1987, college: USC) with 18 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and Serbian point guard Milos Teodosic (195-1987) scored 14 points and 5 assists. Four Virtus BO players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
