American guard Ricky Easterling (189-1983, college: Bridgewater) nailed a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds for the winning side and Paulo Rato accounted for 17 points and 4 steals. Saarlouis' coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American swingman Terry Winn III (201-1995, college: UTRGV) came up with a double-double by scoring 29 points and 23 rebounds and Christopher Herget added 8 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Giessen Ak. in the defeat.
