Regular Season Round 1: Alvik - Aros 74-82

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Alvik in Stockholm on Saturday night. Hosts were defeated by Aros 82-74. Guard Oskar Ekh (190-1999) stepped up and scored 40 points (!!!) (on 14-of-17 shooting from the field) for the winners and Simon Wahlberg chipped in 8 points. At the losing side Colin McInerney responded with 21 points and 9 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) and Felix Holstad (-2000) scored 10 points and 6 rebounds. Four Alvik players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Aros are looking forward to face KFUM Sundsvall on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Alvik will play against Umea 2 and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
