Regular Season Round 3: Potsdam RH - Westerstede 63-73

There was a minor upset when Potsdam RH (1-2) lost at home to Westerstede (1-2) 73-63 on Saturday. It was an exceptional evening for point guard Luca Michels (183-2002) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds. Point guard Fritz Hemschemeier (182-1998) accounted for 17 points and 8 rebounds for the winning side. Westerstede's coach used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Swingman Dennis Teucher (200-1996) came up with 22 points and center Joshua Luebken (211-2000) added 11 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Potsdam RH in the defeat. Four Potsdam RH players scored in double figures. Westerstede will meet at home WSG Koenigs (#11) in the next round. Potsdam RH will have a break next round.
