Regular Season Round 2: Decin - Pardubice 85-62

Very expected game when Pardubice was crushed on the road by Decin 85-62 on Wednesday. Decin forced 19 Pardubice turnovers and outrebounded them 38-23 including 24 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was American guard Ty Nichols (190-1996, college: Keene St.) who scored 25 points and 6 assists. The other American import point guard AJ Walton (184-1990, college: Baylor) chipped in a double-double by scoring 10 points, 9 rebounds and 12 assists. Four Decin players scored in double figures. The former international point guard Tomas Vyoral (192-1992, agency: Octagon Europe) produced 17 points and Croatian-Bosnian center Robert Rikic (219-1990, agency: AltusBasket) added 12 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Decin will meet at home Nymburk in the next round. Pardubice will play against USK Praha and hope to win that game.
